Stacey Armstrong, Reflection 3 & 4

3. In weeks 1 & 2 I said I would really like to learn more ways to integrate technology into my future mathematics classes. There is always PowerPoint, but I was very interested in using remotes and interactive whiteboards to teach mathematics. many students do not learn by taking notes every day and when a teacher poses a question to the class only one student gets to give the correct answer. By using remotes in the classroom I could see what students are understanding and what needs to be explained in more detail. This way students might think, "Cool! I get to play with a remote!" Then they will actually pay attention to the lessons.

4. I think this whole blogging thing is pretty intersting. It puts a twist on turning in a reflection. I hope to learn more about it in the coming weeks. I am a little confused about this whole eportfolio. It is a little hard to keep up in class, but hopefully I will figure everything out in time as well!

Stacey, try e-portfolio workstation website ( you can access it from oncourse or the class blog). It was designed to help you work individually and at your own learning pace. Let me know when you have any questions.
